A VALENTINE ACTIVITY

A very popular Valentine's poem:

 

Roses are red.

Violets are blue.

Sugar is sweet.
And so are you.

Please don't kiss me,
'cuz I have the flu.

 Complete the poems.

You will find some rhyming words in :

Roses are red
The sky is blue
If you love me
Then I love _______

 

Roses are red
Chicks are yellow
I am hungry

Roses are prickly
Chocolate too dear
Sugar too sweet
And you _________


Now you may try to make one up from scratch

Remember 4 lines in the poem

and 4 syllables in a line

The last line rhymes with the second
